Antoine Lie is regarded as an avant-gardist among perfumers. For years, he worked as a master perfumer at some of the world's most prestigious fragrance houses before devoting himself entirely to create truly authentic niche perfumes. With his passion and deep understanding of the art of perfume creation, he has eternalised the complexity and beauty of our Iris in three timeless fragrances.
A uniquely high concentration
Iris is one of the most expensive perfume ingredients in the world. This is why Iris is usually only used in very small doses in perfume oils. In our perfumes, we use around 25 to 40 times the usual amount - creating unique and inimitable perfume masterpieces.

The precious iris rhizomes require several years of care, which requires a lot of patience, passion and deep knowledge. These are all characteristics of Christian Danner, who grows irises in his fields in Bavaria. The special characteristics of the old cultivated land and the self-developed cultivation and harvesting methods produce the outstanding quality and unique scent of our irises.

The hand-picked iris rhizomes are extensively refined by biologist Marcel Flemming to develop the full scent spectrum of the iris. The essential oil and iris extracts are obtained through innovative distillation and extraction processes. These precious essences are the crème de la crème of perfume ingredients and give our exclusive scents an unmistakable, powdery elegance and depth.
